LayoffLeads has no user accounts. Here is everything we collect and why.

What we collect

• Browsing the site: no account, and we set no cookies of our own. Our host (Vercel) and DNS/CDN provider (Cloudflare) process standard request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver and secure the site, and keep short-lived logs.
• Analytics: none are currently enabled. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-focused, cookieless tool that records page views and a few events (such as "search used" or "pricing viewed") without identifying you, and we will update this policy.
• Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we receive your email address and the page you signed up from. It reaches us by email. We use it only to tell you when Pro is available, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
• Purchases: Stripe handles checkout and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, billing country and subscription status so we can deliver Pro and send receipts, and we keep them as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Emails to us: kept in our inbox so we can reply.

The data on the site

The database lists companies, locations, dates and counts from public WARN notices and published reports. It does not list employees or other individuals. If you think a record contains personal information, email us and we will review it promptly.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
